Hi sancho679,
the "P" in your Model-Code does normally indicate, that you have a CI+ device where the Firmware is SSL encrypted and where additional checks are embedded to prevent modifications of your Firmware ( such as enabling Telnet etc. ).
However, recently following option was identified to get Telnet enabled also on CI+ devices using the Telnet-Enabler script ... see e.g. this posting.
