[solved] LE40C630K1P OR LE40C650 ?

Hello, I'm now going to buy a new TV but I'm not sure wich to choose..

The goal is to buy almost, more or less, approximately the cheapest one

I don't need wifi because my home has a wired lan network ;)

I have a debian-based emule+torrent+samba server in my home network and

I ABSOLUTELY NEED the ability to browse/play/view all the contents of my smb server.

I don't know if I need to install or configure a nfs network but I think it would be not a problem for me if smb and nfs may coexist

I think I can buy a LE40C630K1P for 500? or I can search for LE40C650 or any other model:

your tips ore absolutely welcome..

I read this topic http://forum.samygo.tv/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1578#p14019 and now I'm confused:

will the LE40C630K1P be IDENTICAL to LE40C650 just for less money?

I tooked a look at the link you gave me but it talks about MSX6DEUC and VAL6DEUC firmwares only. It seems that VALDEUC firmwares has no audio/video sync problems. For the mp3s player I think you're right, it would be nice at least to have a blank screen possibility wen I listen to music...
But I think LE40C530 would not be a good choice for me, I have a good wired lan in my home and a debian based samba+torrent+amule server. I want to read media files directly from tv and LE40C530 does not have a lan connection!

sure. but VALDEUC is for C650 and higher models only. if you buy c630, you'll get either MSX6DEUC or VAL6DEUC

Isn't then a way to enable samba shares on c630? Finally my dad BUYED an LE40C630K1P (the one in the link) so now I "have to" hack it...

@adamuadamu what games do you mean? Games running on the tv?
