I think your situation is bad because AFAIK such bricks are unrepairable at home. You can try to make/bui ExLink cable and hope your TV is hacked and is executing SamyGO.sh from USB. I could just advice you read this topic and make this test.

If you don`t success, i`m sorry, just Service can help you. (is your TV under warranty?)

Your mistake is that you said how does TV brick.
Choose another Service and power on your imagination to save your money..

Fault may well be unrelated to hack - faulty power supply perhaps. My ue32c6880 had that - a cycle of clicking sound & appearing to reboot. Service changed the mainboard.
