1. Unplug TV from electricity
2. Plug it for 15-30 sec
3. Unplug TV again
If it does not help, Make ExLink cable, format /mtd_rwarea and you get your USB back

If you get device busy, remove cables, enter Hotel mode and try format.
I can`t say about side effects. None has reported any side effects before.

Restart tv without cables does not help? yes, it is better to leave power cable connected
