I have a D5000 TV and I'd be more than happy to enable the Smart TV capabilities. Any info on that ? I could help with (safe) testing.

you can`t get SmartHUB by changing the model in service menu. We don`t have advice to you. As Samsung says, you have to buy new tv if you want new functionality like shub...
