I begin to play with models numbers inside service menu on my BD-D6900 (viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1762&start=20#p17784)
(IF YOU TRY BE CAREFULL, WHEN CHANGE MODEL OTHER SETTIGS CHANGE TOO: numbers of tuners ,type of tuner(SAT,ATV or DTV),number of hdmi outputs,number of usb ports... etc. So first make pictures of all ORIGINAL menus in service mode and adjust them to be compatible with your hardware)
Did anyone know if there is a model with WEB BROWSER ? And in which location the service is enabled ?
I can change models from D6500 to D8900 also with some ZX,M,XU options . Also "number of tools" field could be changed but here would be tricky...
I also try USA and UK but no succes

Updated to 1006 in d6900>d8900 mode.
Now i have internal hdd option in setup menu...and when i try to acces usb drive :

Browser try to open root of usb , screen flash once and then ga back to select device...

after swich back to d6900 usb is back to normal
no other changes in service mode or hospitality mode.
Same error on "widget hack"
