Hey Murfdude. Xicofixas is right. I have the same model here and they sell it like the only hing you can do with the usb is view photos and listen music. The movies options are hidden in the menu and in the documentation too.

I'would like to believe that there is no difference in hardware between this model and the next one that play video. Would be possible try with another firm to update this feature?

Hi Murfdude. Thankyou for the response.

There's something weird in this model. The specs are different. And even this model doesn't exist in the spanish web of Samsung . You're right, my downloads is the only option available in our model of 32d4003.

I'll read about change the model in the service menu and the possibilities, but i'm quite worried about broke the new telly!

[...] as a workaround, you can save your movies in .jpg frames and play them as
a slideshow [...]

aaaahahahah... yes and save the soundtrack in MP3 and listen later.

I own the same model and i can confirm it does not support video files from USB.
Anyway, don't be afraid of changing the model into the service men?..
I changed it different times to try the differences and now i've set it to d550 model.

Now i can watch my movies from usb (even if i can't pause them since the remote doesn't have the play/pause button) and it also unlocks all-share and other network features (i have not tried to connect to the internet yet, since i don't have a compatible USB wifi adapter but i think it should work..)
