In theory, it's possible, at least for other series like B/C. We could deploy custom firmwares to those series. But golden era of hacking just started for C series but D series yet.

With default kernel, there is no virtualization support. I think you can execute qemu binaries but... There is no powerful CPU on it.

I don't inspect D series code yet. But you have better to visit Samsung Open Source center for D series codes. http://opensource.samsung.com/

Problem with D series, we can't have control of it yet. But you might find something about it.
Also you can download firmwares of D series and decrypt fw images with our tools to look what is inside...
