We don't have any work on D series subtitle size yet. Hacks and programs on this site are Series and also Firmware dependent.

I am interested in that too.

At the moment, there is 3 settings on original tv:
small, medium, large.

I suggest, if anyone does this soft, then it should be like that:
* small - at the moment large font size
* medium- 1,5x the large font size at the moment
* large - 2x large font size at the moment
Or is it possible to make more settings then 3 (small, medium, large). Like 5 to 10.

And there is one problem too. When you watch some movie with subtitels, then there is a problem: when picture is white on there is some logos (like in tv series shows, HD, who is acting in this movie and so on), then the subtitles is impossible to read. Do not see anything at all.
Maybe it is good, when the subtitle had a little black outline on the white subtile letter. Maybe then it is better to read at that kind of backround.
I think, that black highlight box around the words is not very nice. Outline should be better option?

Thanks.

Guys, is it possible to modify easily source code (which one?) and build some *.ko/*.so file to get bigger yellow fonts? I mean just increase font size and build the file. Or is it some binary hack you've made?

For the D series you can install Plex (from the app store) and install the media server on your NAS or computer. You will then be able to modify the size of the subtitles.

Yes, I know, but this is another app which should be configured, maintained and PLEX server must be running all the time on some Windows machine - I dont have NAS. And I want to omit it. I want to builtin functionality which will work also with pendrive attached to TV.
