from the scm file you uploaded, I understand that you have a 40c8700 tv, with an internal sattelite receiver (dvbs tuner). I have a similar tv, 55c8790
hack is NOT necessary to solve this problem. you can add a transponder manually in this tv model
1. under the menu, select the salletile icon
2. select the sattelite and point the transponder field
3. in that field, use up or down button, to find the NEW field and select it
4. Now, you will see a red button on the screen named EDIT, press red button on the remote control and add your new transponder
5. After adding, just select search, making the network search active, ofcourse. that is all
by he way, if you change the extention of the scm file to zip, you can manually open the file with winzip and see what it contains. but do not try to edit it manually because windows editors will make it unreadable by your tv.
