PVR Disable Encryption C/D Serie.

Install instructions:
1. Download
archive.
2. Copy /genoa/samsung_pvr to SamyGO directory ....\SamyGO\opt\privateer\usr\sbin
3. Permissions
4. Copy 01_04_pvr_drm_disable.init to \SamyGO\etc\init.d
5. Permissions
Code: Select all
chmod 777 01_04_pvr_drm_disable.init
6. Reboot tv/restart SamyGO extensions.
7. Enjoy
your pvr recorded streams, it can be used/played on any non samsung device.
before ppl who dont have rooted TV, dont worry, soon it will be also released.

Can you do it without of rooting your TV?
Is so how can you root your TV because I know there isn't root for d series.

Rooting available...but not accesible...for us...yet... or you can start learning netcat.
Patience...Santa will bring also for us the procedure for rooting...

Doesn't really work or partly works.
If i record and play on PC then its fine.
BUT in this scenario:
I record on one TV over NFS, then play it on second TV over NFS too and it still says DRM protected content.

then play it on second TV
coz your 2nd TV reorganize files as DRM protected as you have all drm files in floder, TV first take look these drm key files and say that it is from him and tell that he dont accept it.
rename.srf file, remove all other drm files , try to play.

Any hints? I can netcat to open port and see this in the debug output when trying to do 'ls' on a D series PDP

D-series is rootable, I have got root on UE40D8000 (the exploit is not very stable right now), there are sources for the samygo game.so code?

YES!!! tested. Same procedure for BD-D6900 works... recorded on D-series BD and played on C650 tv
