I think this is false advertisement too. There is a skype button. How could it possible since TV has no microphone and web cam? We can add webcam via USB but is embedded 600 Mhz arm enough for video compression? So don't believe until those skype application came...

My oldie phone QTEK8310 with 195Mhz runs skype without problem except there is no video.
If you mention about virtual keyboard, there is no way. No healthy person wanted to use that for chat.

Samsung will release new TVs soon. New series are normally announced in february and in the stores in April. Possibly, these apps are mostly to be used on TVs that aren't released yet.
