but i can confirm that if you had your TV hacked then the hack still stays there after the update.

Thanks for the info, didn't know that the hack could survive a fw upgrade. I will try an update to 3011.0 myself. Currently running fw 3008.3

I can also confirm that an upgrade from fw 3008.3 to 3011.0 does not affect the hack. Awesomeness!!
