Hello
I have UE D6100 model with SamyGo app.
Why is some option in tv menu (on tv remote Menu-) Grayed out? I can't access them. I''ll give you little sample, what is grayed out:

Under PICTURE:
[*] Auto Adjustment
[*] 3D
[*] Advanced settings
[*] Picture options - HDMI Black level

Something under SOUND

Under SYSTEM:
[*] Digital text
[*] PiP

And funny thing is, the PIP is not working with DVB-C and PC connection. When they are connected, even then this PIP option under menu does not become selectable. So my PIP is not working at all. Why is that?
And I can't access Advanced settings. Under there, I would like to change Shadow detail.

So Why these menus are gayed out and what can I do to make them seletable?

Thanks, if someone knows, what the problem is.
8-)

The main question you asked is not for us, it`s for samsung. Just they can answer to you why those menu are greyed out.

You can make it selectable using ruSamsungTVCommunicator. It emulates Factory remote control and gives you a chance to change options which are normally not available.

NO NO.. the correct answer to this questions is to READ the TV Manual. It is all written there by the way.

It all depends what source and mode you're using.

For example Game mode disables some options to speed up processing, PC mode disables even more as you're supposed to want the most neutral picture for PC.

For example in the 40D7000 in PC mode backlight dimming is completely disabled. So Shadow Detail, which controls the amount of backlight dimming obviously is greyed.
