I have a similar question, I have posted in the D series General section with photos..
Do Samsung now install and inferior panel in the D7000 D8000 seris now that all the testing and reviwes have been done?
My UE46D7000 screen is not as clear as my UE46D6530 with the 3D fault was??
Are they shipping sub standard panels now?

This has been the case for years. Over 5 years ago now I had a Sammy TV replaced out of warranty because the retailer advertised the S-PVA panel (with triangular pixels) and I got a lower quality AUO.
Unfortunately for others, at least according to consumer rights in the UK, unless the TV was advertised as having a particular panel, you have no grounds for a complaint and if you do, it is to be taken up directly with the retailer and not Samsung.
