Hi everyone!

I use the Media Play movie function for months now. But all of a sudden, the preview thumbnails for watched videos are not created anymore. It helps a lot for orientation especially in case you use multiple folders on HDD.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find any tips on the web, only people who had the same phenomen but no clue

My TV is a LE40B620 (CI+) whose video functionality I enabled via Exlink. Since then it all worked just fine, I never changed anything else.

Or manual way use telnet and delete from mtd_contents catalogs V0, V1, V2... In telnet this will be command: This work for B650 (CI) and should work for your TV too.

I already found the thumnails cleaner. But I guess I won't be able to use it as I don't have Content Library. At least I don't know how to find out, can you give me a hint?

Otherwise I will try out telnet but would prefer the cleaner.
Is it necessary to have the HDD attached or is it simply a write process in TV's memory only?
On my CI+ device even possible as yours is CI ?

Content Library can't be use on your TV. But you can get telnet access, but your need ExLInk cable and info is here.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
I did not find the time to try it - until today.
So, I managed to access Top debug menu but from there on I have no clue where the terminal prompt is.
I followed this link (http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Enable ... ces_Too.29), but no luck, can't use characters as I have CI+.

If your TV don't support telnet access you can tray other method to fix your problem with thumbnails.
Just reset your TV settings - press Exit button and hold it for 10-15 sec.

You sure I have no telnet? Cause I reached splDebug Menu and Menu 68 (shell). All I would need now is a way to stop exeDSP as described, I guess?

This will not work on CI+, because character input is filtered.

As an option, full shell you can get over the 68 menu. It drops you to shell, but it is restricted. You have to enable full character input first.
