I have spent many months searching for a working fix to set Region 9 on my December 2010 player. It is running firmware v1012 and no matter how many times and timing variances and keystrokes (usual thing: repeat 57538) it refuses to offer up the expected 2 in the top left corner of the tv that can be changed to a 9.

Please can someone post a fix that will permit a region free mode please....
