HT-D6750W Issue with video signal

Hello

2 months back I purchased HT-D6750W.

Initially bluray player had issues with display like after playing a movie for 50-90 mins display on TV goes blank with message "no signal/mode doesn't support" I can hear voice. After couple of days the issue resolved automatically and player was working as expected.

A week ago I purchased the collectors edition of Avatar Blu-ray disk. Initially it took nearly 3-5 mins just to load the disk after loading the disk movie played without any issue. Since the day after Avatar blu-ray the issue of video signal has come back again. From past 3-4 days while playing a video from USB or DVD the screen goes blank for 60-90 sec or sometimes forever till I unplug and replug the HDMI cables.

Does anyone know what is happening with the player?

On the website I found a new firmware v1013 released 2 days back for this player.

Does installing new firmware will resolve the issues?
Where I can find the details of contents in new firmware?

Regards
Uday

Why don't you try first scart/svideo cable to see if problem persist...if you have same problem then you should go to service.
If problem dissappear on scart/svideo then try with a good quality HDMI cable...
New firmware will not solve the issue.

I can't try scart cable as the plug doesn't exist. I have tried changing HDMI cables (tried 3 different) but all of them are encountering same problem where TV displays "No Signal or Mode not supported". I have tested these cables by connecting my cable box and computer to TV both of them work without any issues.

I suspect it might be the hardware and going to support is also a problem as it is not possible to reproduce this display problem. Sometimes it works for couple of days without showing this problem.

Please advise if I can try/check anything to identify the problem.

You don't have to pull out the fridge plug from the wall  but this remind me about one day when BD getting very hot because i forget some CD-s over venting holes of device , and TV goes black ... after 2 -3 seconds image was restored...
So if venting area of your HT is obstructed your processor or HDMI encoder go hot and halted...
Did you have TV on top of HT ? Leave some space for "breathing"

Only TV and HomeTheater are connected to the power plug, no other appliance is connected.

The venting of the bluray player is good as there is no other appliance or anything blocking, appliance is having proper ventilation. The appliance is not getting warm either to have the impact on the signal.

One other thing is only video signal is getting impacted, when the video signal goes blank on TV I can still hear the voice from home cinema speakers. Sometimes video signal goes blank only for a moment like 30/60/90 seconds sometimes signal is blank for a long time till I turn off and on the appliance.

Any other ideas to investigate?

Reconnect your network setting and update your video frequency then try again to connect it.....

Whatever you do, do not upgrade the firmware!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also have the HT-D6750W. I did the updates and now this HT is close to useless when it comes to playing dowloaded videos. They play for a while, and then a Cinavia message pops up and the sound is gone.
My system came with 1012 firmware (EU), so it looks like they did add some protection stuff in the newer firmwares.
