Strange issue. Have you tried to change you USB pen to another? You don`t need any usb pen, if you followed hotel mode cack, you had to set hack to be permanent.
You can use SamyGO Extensions, where virtual USB is created and all mounts are mounted there. Not needed real USB dongle.
