Hi, Im currently running the official T-VAL6DEUC-1016.0 and was wondering is it possible to update the fw to a more recent version as this is nearly 2 years old.

I think here isnt any chance you get more fresh firmware from samsung. After they release new version, "old" are forgotten. It`s their rule. Same with B series - n updates since few yers.

Is there any sammygo fw support for the set>?

Not much - mount samba/nfs shares over network and gain root access, ftp. Check SamyGO Extensions.

Oh right not much point then, Was hoping to get Internet@TV widget

no Internet@TV on this model. Only after mainboard (from C650) change.

but you can ask at your local Samsung Service. The disasembling and changing mainboards is easy, like lego set

So Basically you just remove the old one and fit the C650 and it will work without any other alterations?
