Hi,
I am looking for a 3D Bluray player with the ability to play .AVI and .MKV through a Synology DS211j (NAS with DLNA).
The Panasonic BDT310 i bought didn't do the job and when our Samsung LED 46" D-series works perfect with the NAS i thought maybe someone here would have the answer!
I have seen that the BD D6500/D6900 have very good reviews! But is it NAS compatible without converting all the video files?!
Do SamyGo have any solution to the incompatibility?

I have a DB-D8900 and a Synology RS812.
So far, I am very happy of both of them.

The DB-D8900 can read my .MKV and .AVI from the Nas through DLNA (without any prior conversion)

So the Synology runs the same DSM 4.0 and built in DLNA?
Is it important to buy the D8xxx-series or i could i buy for example the D6900 that is cheaper right now than the D6500?

D6900 decode all files like D8900...
Differences... Hdd built-in dualHdmi out and dual tuner on D8900...

I'm using DSM 3.2, so it should work for you.

I will buy a D6900 later this week, I have ordered a Pl2303 cable so I wonder what can SamyGo do on this Bd player?
