I have the exact same problems. I want to sort my channels from multiple satellites in to a logical order. I had a decent .scm sorted for a few satellites but not complete.

Unfortunately since I made that a number of channels have changed frequencies/transponders

I would really like to download an updated .scm much like Vu+ and dreamboxes can with channel settings like sgt. Flipflop

I have a few questions... If I were to make a sorted .scm for each satellite would the work on all Samsungs series TVs? I have a D8000.

Could I then copy/paste channels from each satellite .scm to one covering all my received satellites?

What's the best channel list editor for this?

I have sorted the HD Channels for Sky UK 28.2E.

Not very advanced but its a start.

1-39 Entertainment
40-50 Sport
51-64 Movie
65-74 News and Childrens

If anyone reading has a channel list from any series TV/model could upload I would like to test compatibility etc.

I have a motorised dish connected and am in London so can receive most European satellites as well as DVB-T/Freeview.

any idea how you add a transponder that is outside Samsungs allowed transponder... For example: Penthouse 3D on 19.2E is on 18366V but I can only add transponders up to 12999 V/H!
If I try to add it it simply blanks out as if it was an invalid frequency. I tried looking for the database file and editing it with WinSCP but I need admin privileges to save the edited file How do I get admin rights?
