How i can see one 3d sbs(Side by side) or u&d(Up and down) mkv file with 3D SUBTITLES and NOT with 2d subtitles?

Already try to convert the srt subtitle i have for most of the 3d sbs mkv movie files into these two files(idx & sub) and put it at the same folder as the mkv movie file with the exactly same file name as the mkv 3d sbs movie file but my friend samsung ue40d6000 doesn't regonise it at all it show me the movie without any subs even i press the subtitle button or i open the subtitle menu.
I try to combine these two files idx and sub into the mkv file as the sub 3d subtitle file still without any progress.

PLEASE HELP ME HOW I MAKE THIS 3D LED TV support/see/appear these 3d movie subtitles.

A LOT OF THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND YOUR ANSWERS

I didn't experience it but it's looks like another fault...
Do you ask to Samsung about the this issue?.

Is it a fault? I've not tried it myself as thankfully I have a proper standalone media player (Popcorn Hour) but this seems like quite an advanced feature to expect on a built-in media player of a TV. My first thought is that what you're trying to do simply isn't supported. Does the Samsung built-in player even support external subtitles?

Yes, it does. It just doesn`t support subtitles from containers like mkv, but separate subtitle files next to the movie file is ok.

I try these files into the samsung ue40d6000 without any results at all.
It's act like it doesn't has any subtitle all the mkv files.

so what do you suggest me to do exactly so i have 3D SUBTITLES for the 3d sbs mkv files.

a lot of thanks.

Well juuso has confirmed that the TV does indeed support external subtitles (I wonder which formats though - SRT almost certainly but PGS/SUP/IDX?) Your attachment suggests your'e trying IDX and SUP - are they supported formats for external subs? I'm 99% SUP will not be supported as most advanced standalone players don't support that.

There's a possibility that the TV's external subtitle renderer is automatically disabled when 3D mode is active. Assuming IDX is supported, it should be easy enough to work out if that's the case. Take you IDX subtitle file and rename it to match a standard 2D MKV file and play that. If the subs show on that, then it confirms external subs are not allowed when in 3D mode. If they don't play on the 2D file either then the format isn't supported.

I try into 3d mkv sbs to see if it does support/see the idx/sub files but it doesn't i see and this thing you say to try it into 2d mode even at the 2d sbs mkv files you can see it as normal movies but you see it in split at half left/right.

Any other help guys that what i can do to see 3D SUBTITLES to this tv model.

I dont think that 3d subtitles are supported at all. SSA/ASS Subtitles that is.
