I have a red glow over me 40d6530, the TV is just 1 week old. Is this something with the screen or is there a setting wrong? I've already tried the factory settings back to sentence but that has not helped.

it occurs during continued watching TV and the HDMI connection (apple tv)

I think you must make calibration in service menu using calibration pictures from wiki.
