hi can i record movies in an other format like normaly? with which player can you play the normal recorded movies?

Only ts possible. Normally encrypted and limited. But with samygo you can decrypt it and watch on other pc or tv. Or record already decrypted ones with pvr scrambling off.

If you record the file with the TVs Encryption disabled and then take the .srf file and rename it to a .mpg or .mpeg file it should play in VLC. If it does not there will be a small box in bottom righthand corner that says DRM this means its still encrypted.

when you start samygo widget and record it should be unencrypted and playable with most players that plays mpeg2

i have renamed a *.srf file in mpg or mpeg. when i play it with vlc i get

libdvbpsi error (misc PSI): Bad CRC_32

google says on this error, file might be damaged, did not had this error before, did you start samygo widget before recording? did the srf play on the TV? did you try other recordings?

do you mean the SamyGoPvrManager?

i have set my UE40D5700 with ruSamsungTVCommunicator. I have enabled the PVR funktion.

i can play all srf files. but on the tv i can not see if they are srf files.
