Good day gents,

Model: PN50C550G1FXZA
F/W Ver: T-TPT5AUSC-1016.3

So im a newbie on here trying to figure some things out on my model. Seems us americans don't hack our samys so there isn't much info or many tools out there for us especially for the tridents. I can get into Hotel Mode and I can Get into the service menu. I'm not terribly sure why I want to at this point? Some questions.


1.) Is there any way to get PVR working? Different firmware? Changing models in Service menu?
2.) Is there any way to install InternetTV?
3.) Can i get it to connect to windows shares so i can stop using the crummy DLNA?
4.) How would I go about doing these things?

I'm terribly lost at this point so any help is appreciated!

maybe yes, maybe not. Hack is not tested on USA c530/550 models. If you get it rooted according the how-to, then you be able to mount your nfs or samba shares to tv`s internal filesystem.

Man... that kind sucks. Okay. I guess call me guinea pig... lol... I figured that. Thanks for the clarification. I will be sure to report my findings for others later.
