We need compare it binary way to see what they changed.

It is safe to patch this one and to flash?

No, it's definitely NOT safe.

Changes spotted so far:
1.Butchered debug menu (whole "spI Debug" seems to be gone).
2. PVR related options and functions are missing.
I wonder why they done this

They added some "nice" new features:
1. Firmware revert/downgrade possibility seems to be completely blocked in this version (or at least heavilly restricted).
2. Some kind of support for cryptologically signed upgrades added.

Some people allready installed this on their TVs - so far no genuine new features in new version are reported at all.
Maybe there are some minor changes or compatibility improvements, I don't know.

So I don't recommend flash new firmware if you want PVR tool later

And it looks like they disabled the Game Mode.
I think It's count as a war deceleration.

One or two weeks ago, I read an interview on the german portal 'digitalfernsehen.de' with a manager of a cable TV company about the introduction of HDTV. He was asked about restrictions (blocking recordings/ advertise skipping denial etc.). He answered that the TV networks want to realize such restrictions that are usually done using CI+. Furthermore he said that TVs and recorders with CI 1.0 interfaces will be supported too but with the same restrictions. For that, CI 1.0 equipment requires fimware modifications and after that, they will be certified...

That may be the reason why Samsung released this update.

T-CHLCIPDEUC-2007.1 has additional (signature?) files in it. which names exe.img.sec.vs. What is this key for?
