Dear "arris69 " or any master here can help for down grade HT-D5550K.

There is new hope because Samsung release new firm wire for HT-D5550K Home teatre 1015.1(2012.06.28) old was 1014. Is there any way we can down grade in a trick way.

new firm wire is 1015.1 old firm wire is 1010 without cinavia.

1. Can overwrite old firm wire in 1015.1 with 1010.1 and downgrade ?
2. Connect newfirm wire to usb to bluray ,system will show the option to upgrade continue, now remove usb to put old firm wire and plug it again and start update possible ? (this method working upto 70%) see below process

this what i tried
1. Connect new firm wire 1015.1 to usb to bluray,
2. message came you want to upgrade to 1014 to 1015.1,
3. immediately i removed the disk and put another disk with old version 1010
4. upgrade process went upto 78% after
5. the error message cannot upgrade

is any of these option will work is there any other ideas. please help

i hope this is the last post where i read smthg. about cinavia. we not support the removal of copyright/region protection, we just give users the possibility to get what they had paid

files are already prepared for FIR based devices, but the file hoster need to check something with internet service provider...

I am not clear. if it is already there mean , i can downgrade using the section "Firmware Downgrade D-Series (SamyGO Proof of Concept, BD )".

Please clarify.

No, you can't do it now.

Hai "Arries" finally whats your recommendation, i can try upgrade to 1015.1 (not sure whats in the update) or stay-in in 1014 even infected by cinavia

i was trying to do the second method in my top post, its downloading upto 78% after showing error message.any help

I also tried this idea, I got the same error (downloading ~78%).
Second idea was to change all files *.vs, *.cs from version 1014
and overwrite them, the same error I got

My current FW: 1013

i was doing the same thing, any way i will try again. can you please confirm this is HT-D5500 home treater systems or just only bluray player. because nobody reported success in FIR Home treater firmware. can you please All function is working properly,my device HT-D5550 Home treater
