Hi,

I have a 55ES8090, CAiway cable provider, use allshare to access my files with a 100Mbit CAT5e cable, and I think I have a problem.

While playing the movie "Our fragile Planet Earth" (See http://vimeo.com/45178371) with the app in smarthub, the movie stutters. It stutters randomly, and sometimes it plays fluently. Sound always plays smooth.

I thought it could be my Internet connection, but it isn't. I downloaded the movie from Vimeo, of course in HD.

I checked the download on my PC, no stuttering. So I played with allshare (damn I hate that software) on my TV. Again it stuttered in random order. So I tried it to play with an USB HDD attached to my TV, and still it stuttered.

I tried several things. Turn Motion Plus to Off or standaard or clear. Nothing happens. When I reset Motion Plus the TV comes with an pop-up and ask if I want to reset Motion Plus 200Hz to default values.

A similar problem I have is when there is a ticker-tape on bottom in the picture. When the (moving) picture in the back is going fast, the ticker-tape gets stripes and stutters to.

What is wrong? What can I try more? Are there more people who have this problem to? Why does Motion Plus resets to 200Hz? Why not 800Hz?

You need to check the Cable connection..

I play 10gb+ 3D .mkv files fluently over Wifi-N on my UE40ES7000.

Unfortunately every component in your setup can disrupt playback so make sure you check the following:

1. get at least two or more files with the same container format AND codec format without any errors (there are many tools to check this)
o container format e.g: (*.avi) or (*.mkv)
o codec format e.g.: (mpeg2/mpeg4/xvid/divx)

2. playing direct from USB device
o this uses the least amount of components try this first and it does not matter if this is a hdd or memory stick.

3. playing over wired
o make sure you test 1 and 2
o use the least amount of components in your setup e.g. try to connect simple before using a more complex setup.
o test different cables and ports with any switches/routers used in the setup (check device-logs if neccesary)

4. playing over wireless
o make sure you test 1 and 2
o make sure all devices comply to same standard e.g. WIFI B/G/N.
o test without any encryption (try mac-filter)
o test with encryption and make sure they comply to same standard (WEP/WPA/WPA2)
o use simple passwords before you use complex
o use a simple DLNA setup

In your case i would check the file because it does not play well from usb.

PS: *not all codecs are supported by the player, in that case you will get an error saying that the file is not supported followed by the codec type or it will not play at all
