DVI issue of ES8000

Hi there,
I got new ES8000 TV.
Unfortunately TV doesn't recognized my asus laptop DVI (Has x1700 GPU inside) using with DVI to HDMI converter. I tried 2 different converter but none detected.
My old B650 TV could detect my laptop using same cables but ES8000.
Somehow, my PC (ATI 6850HD) DVI port could detected by ES8000 TV too. But don't know how to get picture using DVI converter using ES8000 TV.
Anyone experienced similar problem?
