Hi,

i would like to kow what this Options on my UE46ES6710 does: Service Menu - Control - Sub Options - kr3d (Current state is off). The FW is 1023.2.

My idea was, it it means 3d Kernel. But 3d works with the settting off. I tried it with the setting on. I am not sure if this is just in my mind but the 3d looks better in one way; less jolt, less ghosting but also less depth in the 3D Picture itself. So, is my observation true? Or is it just in my mind?

Since noone has an answer: What does your setting say? On or Off?

I'd like to know this as well. But I have not tried 3D yet. Not even sure it's available without modding my set. However, my setting is OFF.

From what little info I can find, there are only a few possibilities as to what that setting does, if anything.

1. It enables a special 3D setting in the video processor or kernel.
2. It enables the 3D shutter glass transmitter *.
3. There is an acceleration sensor in some Samsung phones with this label: "KR3D"...

* It is not clear what this emitter is. It is most likely Bluetooth (RF) in newer models, and IR in older ones.

However, all this should be possible to confirm by checking debug console via ExLink. Anyone?
