This metode works if you TV already have telnet/ssh in memory before "upgrade".

Does this mean, if I only updated with officiall firmware or SamyGo firmware?

NO\ this mean you can rollback if only you have a shell access to TV...

This How To doesn't work for CI+ Devices!
You can brick your TV.

I guess you have telnet enabler on tv.
Can you check in /mtd_tlib/GGame/ if you have anything additionaly and also directory of telnet enabler.
and maybe you could list files in /mtd_tlib/GGame/ here ?

you only had to change numbers of mtd_exe and mtd_appdata:

Code: Select all

/dev/tbml8 to /dev/tbml10
/dev/tbml9 to /dev/tbml11

in 4, 7, 8, 10 and 11 steeps... Have`nt you tried to start telnet enabler or samygo all extensions 0.031 to enable telnet or ssh again?What success?
