Hacking the Samsung internal player

Hi,
I'm new to this entire scene, I'm looking into the ES6000 series as I just bought the 60" model. I've got ~19tb of media which I am streaming to it. I am finding that it seems to support a LOT more content than previous samsung/Sony model tvs and I want to look into hacking the samsung media player itself. Since there's a working DTS audio module I want to use that as a starting point. I've had a few video files that used FLAC on my tv which cannot stream so I think that FLAC support is a good place to start. I would base it on the DCA module and go from there. Is there anyone who has experience with this sort of development? and is there any sort of documentation or notes on hacking the Samsung internal media player? I have a lot of Anime/TV shows I will be testing with and am currently using PS3 media server. if anyone knows of a better GNU/Linux based DLNA server application then I would be interested in it. The tv supports seeking backwards/forwards, Subtitles, and language selection features none of which seemed to work on a 55" samsung from last year we have.
