there is no patched firmware for e-series bd player, as far i know...

Seems that interest in BD-E6100 patched firmware is growing... hope samygo extensions for that player will supported soon.

Any solution for BD-E6100 is missing from the net so far. It seems I am stuck with Region 2 for life with all my dvds in Region 1. I should've known better I guess

since the secret code stopped working, only chance for now is to build exlink cable and connect the TOP Debug Menu on debug console:
