You can rule your robot at moon or mars by using this TV as a computer. Logically possible too.
Unfortunately, this TV's CPU is not enough to decipher DVD VOB encryption.

yeah right,
if you decrypt an DVD to copy it on an USB you could easily convert it to .avi or .mkv,
would make more sense and on modern computers it doesn`t take longer than maybe an half hour.

Don`t think it`s worth the effort, even implementing an DVD player should take much much much much much longer then decrypt and convert.
