BD-C8500 3d capable?

Hi folks.
I own a BD-C8500S which has no 3d capability.
So I wonder if it was possible to enable 3d with some tool or even try to apply the BD-C8900S firmware as this device can do 3d.
Does anyone have experiences with such playing?
Any suggestion welcome
