How can I run my Smart TV on intranet ONLY ???

Hello people

I'm having a problem with this Smart hub .... I'm beginning to realise this Smart TV is simply a Samsung cloud service. Nevertheless, I intended to buy dozens of Smart TVs and install them as simple Intranet browsers for a customer. So I made a simple JS app, made it a ticker, and it boots up fine in my app .... until I deploy it at customer site where it does NOT have Internet access.

I do NOT want to update all Samsung stuff, and I do NOT want Smarthub to block me ..... I just want my intranet setup to start at power up.

Is that someting that can be done ata all? Or do I have to buy a different brand of Smart TV ???

Thanks for any reactions! , regards

interesting what IP/domain E series TV pings to be sure here is internet connection?
First what came to my mind - fake DNS at clients side (yes, yes, this is not for every user too), to let TV think it is online with its home - south korea or so...

Optional - anyone should patch out checking internet availability.

After firewalling the internet acces on your router.

- On startting Smart TV it will complain that there is no internet connection

- The DLNA AllShare Player will still work (aka connect/play media from an internal/intranet server)

- The Internet web browsers will NOT work
The browser requires that it has an connection to SAMSUNG to check/install the latest version of the browsers before it will do anyting else.
