I have a BD-D5300 unit. I've been able to make it region free for DVD's using the remote hack. Is it possible to change the Blu-Ray region with the FaNet cable?

Hi there, how you do the "remote hack"? Mine its region 4 and i want region free player, thanks.

First you'll probably have to downgrade the firmware though. The region hack is disabled in recent firmware versions. Have a look at this page:

Once you've changed region to "9", you can upgrade to the newest firmware again. The player will remain region free.
