I?m from spain and I have a LE40C630K1WXXC. Follow instructions that I read in this forum I activated Hotel Mode and installed your firmware modificated (I changed the DNS).
However, my TV likes similar before the changes. I find nothing different.

I've read that changing motherboard for C650 I can have SmartTV, with PVR, Apps, Web browser, etc... It's right?
If is true, what exactly motherboard I need to my C630?

right, but not smart tv, c650 has Internet@TV. This is difference.

Both mainboards should be ok for you, price from second link is maybe because of its marketing tricks or so. Its their business for what price they sell.
But ones from ShopJimmy are acceptable.

Don't care that last characters not equals? My 1KWXXC to 1KXXU for C650 model.

And, if not too much to ask, Internet@TV allows to install Apps?

i havent made replacement of c series, but i i would, i take that one.
and yes, i@tv allows you install and use c series widgets.

I guess they are limited to facilitate compatibility by serial number and they don't know if this mother board may be compatible thanks to the "scene". Am I right?

as i said, none knows 100%, you take some risk, but according some users who did already such swap, here is big chance for success
And yes, customer service definitely checks just numbers on stickers and definitely such cross-compatibility of mainboard is nowhere else registered.

and of course they will say that your selected MB is not compatible with C630 as it is for C650
If you want to contact them again ask for C650 compatible MB...

Well, I have ordered a c650 mother board. Hope I have it soon and work it fine in my C630.
