Dear all,
The set was in STD-BY.
I replaced the memory ic 24c32n.
The set started but when i put it in STD-BY it did not start again.
The original no was 24c32w. Is there a difference between the 2 ICs.

Thanks
unicor

imo you had to re-program your new ic first. Or?

Hi,
I have read that in samsung we can replace the EEPROM with a blank IC.
so i have put a blank new IC.

usually it is better to take dump of working same chip, re-flash it (using any IC programmer) to blank one and then use. You just confirmed blank IC wont work. Isn`t?

But i`m not technician and i might be wrong... :x
