[SOVED] Problems with ExLink

Hi @all,

i searched a bit for my problem but i haven't found my answers.

I tried to hack my UE40C6800 via Internet@TV widget like it is mentioned in the wiki. But unfortunately my TV got bricked and now it doesn't mount my USB sticks anymore. So i soldered a ExLink-cable (CA42) and set the RS232 to DEBUG. I can see the whole stuff, what the TV is sending out. But my problem is that I can't send any commands. I get no answer to my 10041004. I don't know how to carry on.

I tried it with an old notebook with XP and Hyperterminal, with my PC (Win7 64bit, Putty) and with Ubuntu 11. The same problem at all PCs. What can I do? Which information do you need for helping me.

Thanks in advance.

Chako

did you try loop test of the cable? just connect tx with the rx. see if it works.

Hi,

i took a while but now I found my failure. I swapped the pins for GND and TX. Unfortunately i can't flash the partition /mtd_rwarea. Every time i try it the sammy returns the following:

Code: Select all

I also tried to flash in Hotel Mode, but it is the same failure. Can anyone help me getting back my USB function?

Edit:
Ok, i found a solution. I disconnected all cables and powered down the sammy totally. After that i was able to flash the partition. Thanks for the hint with crossing TX and RX.
