BD-E5300 problem with re-encoding to DD

Hello,
hope i can get help here
i just bought a BD-E5300 because it was on special for ? 59. The player directly offered me an update from firmware version 1005 to 1006, so it is on firmware 1006 now.
Now I have a problem with re-encoding Audio to Dolby Digital. As my AV-Receiver is just able to play DD and no DTS i thought the perfect option for me is to select "Re-encoding to DD" in Audio menu. But if i do so, it doesn't work.
If i choose PCM it works in the right way, i can play video files with DTS sound and also DD ones. But when i choose "Bitstream (Dolby Digital Re-encoded)" just the files work which have Dolby Digital (AC3) Sound in original. Files with DTS sound are just played without sound. When i choose "Bitstream (DTS Re-encoded)" it's exactly the same thing. DD files are played correctly, DTS ones are having "no sound". So it seems like both options are handled as i'd have choosen "Bitstream (untouched)", but i haven't!
That's really annoying cause i can't get surround sound from DTS material in that way. So i was asking myself if there maybe is another firmware for that player and looked on Samsung's homepage for one. When i choose the BD-E5300 i can see that 2009 is the newest firmware for that model, but when i download and try to install, the player says me the firmware is not for this model.
In the firmware menu i can see that my one is named "BSP-E5400WWB-1006.0" which is very confusing in my eyes because i bought a BD-E5300.
Anybody any idea or can somebody tell me if DTS re-encoding works for him and with which firmware?
