BD-C8200 hdd problem

Hi, I've recently bought a second-hand BD-C8200 player. Unfortunately, the previous owner has removed the hdd. I tried to install my own hdd but with no success. The player without the hdd turns on quite normally. However, after some time it freezes so that none option works (the picture stops too). I suppose this is because of the missing hdd. When I put the hdd the player doesn't recognize it. I tried different types of partitions and only ext3 was recognized as a BD Live disc. The question is how to format the hdd to make the player work correctly. Do I need to copy any file system? Pls help

Maybe you have to use xfs filesystem as we know samsung likes this format very much? But i wonder why player won`t recognize hdd at all.

I've created xfs and ext3 partition but the player can read only the ext3 as the drive for bd live storage. When I choose hdd maintanance in the setting it says that the drive is only 3.5 mb. The same is when I remove the hdd completely so assume that the hdd is pratiotioned wrongly and for this reason it is not recognized. The previous owner told there were several partiotions on the hdd (at least four)

Should there be any pre-installed files from Samsung on the internal hdd?
