UE37ES6710 Country Setting Problem

Hello all,
I'm a new poster to these forums and I'm hoping someone can help!
I recently purchased an EU version of the UE37ES6710. I didn't know it was the EU Version until it was delivered by Amazon and had a 2-pin plug included. I'm in the UK.
I have managed to get it setup OK, however my Digital Channel Country Location was limited to 3 choices during setup. These were Austria, Germany & Switzerland. I set it to Austria, and it picked up all my Freeview channels, but listed them alphabetically. I have figured out how to change the order.
The Analogue Channel is set to UK, however there is no analogue signal in my area any more. Can the Digital Channel country be set to the UK? Is it possible to root the TV and install UK firmware?
Also, some of the Freeview channels are awful quality. I only have Freeview, no Sky HD or Freeview HD. The picture quality on my 6-year old Samsung LCD was far superior. Is there anything I can do to fix this, or should I send it back? I have found some config settings on AV Forums, but they didn't make that much difference to be honest.
Should I just get in touch with Amazon and get them to send me a new one?
Many thanks,
Mark
