Using apache to schedule a recording?

Hi!

Not sure, if this is the correct forum (I have a UE40C6800 C-Series). Hacking worked fine - I have CLI access and apache installed. Now I was wondering, what to do with the apache. First thing that springs to mind is scheduling recordings via web.
I couldn't find any solution for that so far and now I'm wondering if that's trivial, i.e. not worth mentioning or difficult / impossible or if simply nobody is interested in a usage of apache for that?
What are you guys doing with your apache on the TV?
I'm willing to give development a try, but of course I'd like to get as much information up front not to reinvent the wheel.
Does anybody already know, in what file the Cs series stores the schedule for the recordings?
I suppose WOL would be a related toppic to get apache started, right? If WOL isn't supported, maybe we could create a little IR-wakeup mechanism with a raspberry pi or something (am I jumping the gun?).
Or should I visit a completely different forum (which one) ?
