Hi guys!

I follow the non samsung wifi guide and transform a Tp Link wifi adaptor in Samsung wifi adapter..

i test the adapter in ue50ES5500 and work ok, but in my ue37D5700, when i press seach, no router found..

i have root on my tv, ftp and telnet, it's any way to make it usable ?

wifi dongles based on adapter RT5370 are ok on E series, but not ok for D series, even after VID/PID change. For D series you need adapter on RT3572 or RT2870 driver.

same adapter with rt2870 chipset will work ?

i test before same adapter but with rt2870 chipset, but i compile wrong drivers. rt5370, i thought has 5370, but it was 2870..
not working maybe because i try with wrong driver ? the adater was recognize in tv, but same problem, no router found on scan..

rt2870 should work on all series.
but for e series you have to try

i buy a new adapter Edimax EW-7711UAn, i change the VPID , the tv recognize it, but no router found on search..

should i change something in tv? i have root, telnet and ftp..

What model are you talking about? D or E series?

i test today the new adapter Edimax in a new tv, UE46 ES 5500 and also it works..

so what should i try for ue37D5700 ?

Perhaps rare dongle based on RT3572 chip OR change VID and PID of your Edimax to 148F:3572 and test then on D series.
