I upgraded my TV - model UE37C6500UP XZT - from fimware T-VALDEUC 3007 to T-VALDEUC 3015 using an USB drive.
After the update the TV works fine for about 10 seconds then the screen shows some artifacts and the TV reboots. The process goes on forever.
Previously, when I was on 3007 firmware, I had enabled PVR and Gemstar (GuidePlus) through Hotel/Service mode following the SamyGO Wiki.
Here's the process in detail:
1. I downloaded the firmware from Samsung official site and I copied and extracted the file directly into the USB flash drive.
2. I plugged the USB pen into the TV. The TV recognised the update and began the update process.
3. When the update reached 100% the TV reeboted and the problem started.
In the first 10 seconds after the reboot I can use the remote control - i.e. to turn up the volume, change the channel or enter the settings menu - but I don't have enough time to edit any setting.
The TV is completely unusable.
Do you have any suggestions on how to solve the problem?

This is symptom, that your firmware upgrade procedure failed and TV goes to cyclic reboot every 10~30 sec by authuld.
Here is no pills for your TV, just only mainboard replacement. Second hand mainboard costs about 100 euro and you can replace it by self. If you have warranty, then this issue is covered by warranty, call your local service.
p.s. Was TV hacked before? If yes, then a little chance for repair still exists...

Thank you for your quick reply.
Fortunately my TV warranty is still active.
Could PVR and Gemstar have anything to do with the failed update?
P.S. Nope, I've never properly hacked the TV.

No, enabling PVR/Gemstar does nothing for firmware upgrade. Glad you`re under warranty.

Thank you again. I've just called Samsung support.
I'll try to keep this thread updated as a reference for other users who may experience the same problem.

The TV motherboard has been replaced by Samsung.
Samsung confirmed that the problem was in the firmware update system, something went wrong at some point and the TV bricked.
Fortunately the replacement was covered by warranty and I didn't have to pay anything.
