Hi,

I have a UN46ES6100, made in mexico (Costco purchase) for the NA market(?) currently with firmware 1029.2 -- the tv wanted to update as soon as I had it configured to my network, so I accepted the upgrade form 1003 <> 1029.2. I would like to enable PVR functionality and have seen a thread here to enable PVR on the C series. Is it possible to enable PVR mode via the service menu for the 46es6100?

I dont think so, but you can try...

PVR can be enabled on the 6100 with the latest firmware, however, you will need an IR blaster as ruSamsungTVCommunicator has been blocked from sending 3SPEED twice by the latest firmware.
