Dear All,
i had bought this tv in first week of March. first time LED or LCD tv user so you can expect my joy.
now with few savings i bought samsung wifi dongle.
firmware is latest : 1017.1
i am able to run rusamsungcommunicator also. and was also able to enter into service menu
the official webpage shows that it had DVB T/C tuner, but it tunes only analog.

Now advice is required:
1. was DVB T/C is possible ? IF YES PLEASE HELP, how to select values in service menu
2. Can it be possible by changing region? how to do it
3. Can 3D be activated, i.e model change to 6200R is posible or not?

before posting this post i had already tried ruSamsungTVCommunicator... it works as a remote perfectly.. but factory + 3 speed does not works
tried to make dual ir transmitter.. failed at my first attempt.. but will try again in few weeks.
I tried again and succeeded in enabling grey values to change by dual-IR transmitter only. thanks Sammy wiki
dual IR transmit works even when I had latest update installed

Control --> Region = EU
tuner SI_ATC2 remains as before

will keep you guys updated with my efforts with other hacks and tries


Today i checked on internet, a new firmware is launched on 19-July. ( i updated post on 18-July)
Is this conincidence or just someone trying to block the hacks

I had not tried this firmware and reluctant to do so that it will again close/block the service menu hack and will disable digital tuner

I was success with UA40EH5300rxxv (vietnam). Now i can use Analog,DVB-T,DVB-C.

3D can't use, because not have 3D hardware include and panel only 60Hz, in 6 Series have panel 120Hz and 3D hardware. I was change 3D support off-ON but nothing happen when press 3D button on remote (remote from ES7100 and 3D glass )

I was success with UA40EH5300rxxv (vietnam). Now i can use Analog,DVB-T,DVB-C.

Am I understanding this right? Using the extended service menu I should be able to turn my set to pan european capable? I currently live in the Netherlands but will be going back to the UK in the future so this is important to me. In the setup menu the UK sets only have UK as an option and the NL sets only have NL/BE/LU (benelux) as options for the tuners. If I buy the TV in the Netherlands I can save myself about ?300 but i need to be 100% sure that I can get the tuners to work when I go back to the UK.

Ok, i can set Region PANEURO with my TV is UA40EH5300 with Region greyed ASIA and Local set is EA-Viet. When i Extended Service Menu, Region ungreyed and change Region to PANEURO, Local set can set EU. Now i have Analog, DVB-T, DVB-C channels. I so happy with Smart Samsung TV.

which method you applied to get your goal?

I'm using dual ir transmission with IPhone4 (JB install Ifile) play wav by Ifile. I can't Extended SM for UA32EH4003 (Non Smart TV), i use Exlink Cable to console with UART = Auto Wall/DEBUG/MDC/On1/On2, Debug mode: Smart Debug/ Runtime Debug/Debug off. USB serial setting 38400,8,N,1 i can only see log of Runtime DebugGer V 1.2.0 Samsung Elec.. 2003. I can't access TDM to change Country. this link viewtopic.php?f=52&t=5805 . juuso help me please!

@juuso: I don't know if it helps with vuhothang's tv model, but I changed local set by using "ruSamsungTVCommunicator" (http://samsung.rainerullrich.de/ruSamsu ... 0.15.0.zip.) to open up the extended SM on my tv.

Ok, I just saw there's no lan connection with this tv...
