GPT support - help with enabling

Hello all,

I am quite new here, therefore will be my question trivial maybe. Anyway my situation is as follows:
I have (and do not want to by new):
- Samsung UE40D6530 - T-GASDEUC_1024.0
- Samsung UE46D8000 - T-GAP8DEUC-1027.1

+ I bought:
- Fantec MR-35DU3 USB 3.0 - http://www.fantec.eu/html/en/3/artId/__ ... ticle.html
- 2x SEAGATE 3TB 64MB ST3000VX000 6GB/s
-> formatted to 6TB NTFS GPT

The issue is not in the USB3.0, but simply GPT is not supported by both TVs (F series supports it, tried already).

So is there someone who can helps me to recompile both FWs to GPT support? Good advice or step-by-step help at least ;)
(FWs are on Samsung page free to download)

Thank you all in advance!

default kernel config has EFI GUID Partition support enabled already, i wonder why then TV won`t support it?

Why don't you just remove GPT partition?

Oh, my fault - didn't realized you were talking about an USB Raid system.

to Ptah: sure, I want to use it as one 6TB disk :)

to juuso: well, it not works even EFI GUID support enabled (but works on F series, I have tried already). And it seems I am not only one with similar issue: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=2946&p=23776&hilit=mbr#p23776

So I suppose there should be also something else what to enable in the FW of the TVs ... Any idea?
